I am a Happy Square

Every morning

when I wake up

I realize that I am

An inefficient square.

I hack off the corners,

Try to roll through my day

An efficient circle.

Despite my best efforts

When I wake up..

I am a square again!

Recently began to

Rejoice in my

Inefficiency.


The world needs more happy squares    

To  slow society

Down.

  2. Hi Melanie, Not sure if my comment will post either, but here goes. Anyway, I so enjoy your blogs. They help keep me grounded which I really appreciate now that we have gone through such cuts at work. Now it feels like a struggle to survive and stay civil. Your words are powerful. Thankyou for writing – it is ministering to a dying world. 🙂
