I was frantic.
Was I pregnant
yet again?
Then,
The unexpected.
A blanket of peace
Wrapped around me.
Suddenly,
Joy,
Light,
Laughter
Within.
I heard words
In my heart;
”This is you call.
This is your vocation.
This is your witness to the world. “
Confusion.
”People don’t understand
I look foolish.”
A whispered answer,
”You will be a witness to
Life and Joy.”
I said,
”Yes”
To Life
And
Discovered
Unexpected
JOY.

I can relate–pregnant at 43, kids were 7 and 11. What a joy my baby has been, despite all those thoughts when I learned I was pregnant.
