A True Servant

All Christians should rejoice today. Why?

I think this Pope Francis I will touch ordinary people and make a difference.

In Argentina, he takes the bus to work, visits the slums and has refused the luxuries that came with his appointment as cardinal; he lives simply. Those who know him say that he is shy, humble and holy.

Apparently he is very warm and approachable, a grass-roots man who is also an intellectual with strong social justice beliefs. He hid and fed people during the turmoil with the government in his country
Last year he gave a strong exhortation to fellow church officials pointing out their hypocrisy for forgetting that Jesus Christ bathed lepers and ate with prostitutes.

First Pope from the New World, first Jesuit, first man to take the name of Francis,  a saint who gave all way to live poorly among the poor.
