Join with us as we gather to write about our week at Conversion Diaries, hosted by Jenny.
- I have been fascinated by Mary this week, after all it is May and I was a Protestant who was horrified when Mary decided to move into my heart. I wrote a post about the experience. The title and first paragraph pretty much tells all,
What would be the absolute worst thing that could happen to a nice Protestant girl? Why Mary, the Blessed Virgin, would do a little interior house cleaning, then make a home for herself in the poor girl’s heart, that’s what! If that was not bad enough, this perplexed young woman’s belief system would stay staunchly anti-Catholic for oh, about another 10 years, even though she had converted to Catholicism. I mean what choice did she have? Nobody but the Catholic Church even wants someone who craves the Eucharist and has a relationship with the Mother of Christ.
- I have stumbled upon glorious paintings, icons and stained glass images of Mary, which resonate deeply with in my spirit. I simply can\’t keep them on Pinterset, so I am collecting favorites in my side column and on designated pages listed along the top of my blog. Here is a peek at a few of my favorites:
- I have also been making som of my original sayings into quotes using quozio, clipzines or picmonkey. It has been a lot of fun.
- This is only my 6th point but if I take the collages into account, it would seem to mr that i have more tan 7 quick takes! God bless, laugh at yourself, your kids and even how God deals with us. It really does help!
