really? I had never heard of him till I stumbled on this quote. What is his main theme?

This man was a minister and father and husband but did not like religion – his novels have such strong characters of Godly people that were so good and kind and Christ-like that I would get convicted reading them. I cannot do him justice —- grab any of his novels and read. CS Lewis considered him his master. 😀
