As the temperatures start dropping, with frost warnings
beginning in Canada this post is in celebration
of the natural beauty which surrounds us.
For me gardening lifts my spirits in a mysterious, mystical way when I plunge my hands in the warm earth because the Spirit of God is infused in every atom of the natural world. Indeed this man to God in nature encounter is the easiest and simplest of Divine meetings. Even on-Christians long be outdoors either gardening, walking, camping or simply laying in the sun, although they might not understand why.
Gardening always reminds me of the commission given to man in the Garden of Eden to care for the earth.
