Angels we have on heard high
Sweetly singing ore the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
Gloria in excelsis Deo
Gloria in excelsis Deo
This is the time of year that even the secular world focuses on angels. Soak in the images of angels, the first heralds of the Good news to the poor as well as Gabriel who even announced His conception. What a wonderful way to prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. The artist J.K Richahards captures the both glory and the agony in his images of angels. The joy of announcing the good news and of rescuing of souls in torment as well as the power and the peace of God
