Come , let’s emerge from our caves because….

I long to live in, with and through Him, Jesus Christ. I need to live in reality but first I must come out of the darkness of my cave, into the light of God and see myself in truth. as C.S Lewis says so well,

We must lay before Him what is in us, not what ought to be in us. C. S. Lewis

After I see my self as God does, next I must accept forgiveness, which is the greatest act of humility.

Only when I know that I am loved and forgive, only then do I have the freedom to surrender my old self, to God.

“Such a soul has been stripped of her old self and has been clothed in a new self, in Christ gentle Jesus. Then, she is open to receive and hold that grace by which she experiences God in this life.” Saint Catherine of Siena

Then I can say with St Paul, ‘No longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me
