2 Corinthians 12:9-11
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. I have become foolish; you yourselves compelled me.
When I have depleted all my inner resources,

When I am weak physically, emotionally and mentally,
then the Spirit has a chance to work through me.
Even though I feel ineffective
Even inactive,
The Holy Spirit rises up from my deepest self
in strength and power.
When I am no longer strong enough to get in His way
When simply BEING is all I can do
He does is free to shine through me.
This is Presence Evangelism.
It is like lighting a candle in a dark room and simply letting the flame conquer the darkness
Thank you Melanie! The well and source of strength is Jesus Christ. Your blog reminded me of Matt Maher’s song ‘Your Grace is Enough’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kvw6SkZ4cGI
