Christ the Redeemer, a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is on top of Corcovado mountain. It is considered the largest Art Deco statue in the world at 30 metres tall (98.4252 feet), not including its 8 metres pedestal, and its arms stretch 28 metres wide. . To me this statue is a symbol of the openness of Christ, as He beckons and welcomes all.

Wonderful pictures! Did you ever see the show Idiot Abroad? There was an episode about Christ the Redeemer that was quite entertaining. It is an amazing statue- hard to believe it is just shy of 200,000 ft. tall.
