Exactly how society forms the next generation will directly influence the kind of society they in turn create in the future. Are we creating a race of humans who are becoming increasingly competent interacting with machines and cynical about relationships, family and the power of Eternal Love? I hope not. St. Paul tells us everything will pass away, except Love.
Let the light of God shine insight into the role of mothers.
I wear a smile for the wisdom I learned as I mothered.
Children are a joy because they live in the moment, delight in the smallest wonder.
Little ones are intuitive, spiritual, simple.
Yet as I remember pain and exhaustion,
tears well -up
for the suffering necessary to acquire wisdom,
not knowledge.
Painful regret
for this hectic modern society scrambling after glitter, power, money and success.
This society often ignores
the wisdom of mothers,
letting it slip to the fringes of influence.
So I write with joyful hope
that mothers will reveal
their unique wisdom and strength
to a jaded, cynical world,
a world which has forgotten
all is fleeting
except Love,
especially the Love of God flowing from parent to child and from child to parents,
This community of the family is the foundation of society, essential to the health of society.
connecting with Theology is a Verb
Indeed, we always want to look for true love. It’s an inherent instinct. We’re not perfect, and finding true love is not going to be easy, but yes, but we can find true love. Otherwise, why are we even existing here?
