Face to Face

Eye to Eye

Spirit to Spirit

Mary falls into her baby’s gaze.

Silent communion

Deep understanding

Infinity shared with a finite mortal.

Finite Mother of an Infinite God.

A Profound mystery

which means

I became hers

When I became a

Sister of Christ,

Child of God.

I chose to rest in Mary’s arms

Face to face

Eye to eye

Finite being sharing with Infinity

Raised in Him to Eternity

Death’s stranglehold broken.

I am free to live in communion with God and His mother.
