Creating My Own Saint Quotes With Images

I grew frustrated with quotes from the saints paired with pictures of gloomy saints with their eyes rolled back in their heads. Even worse, are insipid flowers surrounding profound spiritual insights. So, using the free site PixTeller, I searched for great Catholic art, sharp, colourful graphics and paired them with some of my favourite quotes from the saints.

I started with St. Augustine and St. Teresa of Avila because both saints are insightful about the spiritual life and combine a wonderful sense of humour with wit.

  3. I have not heard of Pixster before! Now I need to go check out their image selection and their copyright rules!

    I, too, love to put the inspiration from the saints together with uplifting images. Or, images where the viewer can possibly see them self.

  6. Hi! I’m a Catholic blogger as well. I just found your blog, and I love your images. I feel awful saying this, but sometimes traditional Catholic pictures like you mention give me the eebie jeebies. I love your images. Thanks for sharing!
